Book online a 30 minute appointment to see a careers adviser/consultant. (Please note: appointments are bookable up to 7 days in advance). Appointments are available at University House, Peel, Allerton, and Lady Hale.
Longer appointments are available for mock interviews and in more specialist circumstances. Please note these are not bookable via Advantage. To book a longer appointment or if you would like a mock interview please call 0161 295 0023 or Email: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please supply the following information:
- Your name and student roll number
- Contact number/email
- Job title/course (e.g. PGCE Secondary English, MMU) you have applied for (for mock interviews)
- Date of interview (for mock interviews)

Improve your CV
A CV is a useful tool to make sure you’ve thought about your specific skills and experiences and how to market them to an employer. We offer a variety of services to help you improve your CV:
Your first point of call should be our CV Workshops. We’ll cover the different types of CV, and show you how to target it for particular jobs, and develop a skills section and profile. All CV workshops take place in University House. To book onto a CV workshop, click the link of the workshop you would like to attend on our Careers Workshop webpage.
CV Review Appointments
We have 20 minute CV Review appointments at University House. These appointments will be open for bookings 2 days before. CV Review appointments are also available inother buildings around the campus.
Distance learners or graduates who have moved away from the area can get their CV reviewed via Email
