Student? New graduate? Alumni? We're here for you
We're here to help you make the most of your skills and experience, preparing you for the next stage of your career.
Our team supports students at all stages of their studies and beyond as graduates. At the heart of work is our passion to help students explore future career options, develop relevant employability skills, and learn how to evidence their employability to potential employers.
We provide information, advice and guidance on: career planning, finding and applying for employment opportunities, writing and tailoring CVs, interview preparation, internships and placements, business start-up, freelancing, further study and much more! Throughout the year we provide online resources, bookable appointments, employability masterclasses and employer events.
We value working collaboratively with academics, employers and industry professionals. We are eager to engage students and graduates in networking and inspirational activity, and to access job vacancies.

Service Update (COVID-19) 2021
We are now offering a mixture of face to face and online appointments, so the choice is yours. Your safety on campus is our number one priority which means that in some areas face coverings are mandatory as they are required by the relevant risk assessment. We encourage you to wear a face covering when attending an appointment in person, if you are able to do so. Please read our guide for more information: Stay safe | University of Salford
Our appointments are still available to book and will be delivered by telephone or over Microsoft Teams. Live masterclasses are currently being delivered live on Collaborate.
Our phone lines and email are open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Please continue to check for up-to-date information regarding the University's response to COVID 19.
