Information on combined careers services and 3rd party relationships

The University of Salford provides a range of careers services to its students, graduates and employer partners. To ensure the quality of service provision, employers that want to submit employment opportunities for promotion to students and graduates, or to engage with students and graduates in other ways including careers fairs, are required to read and agree to the terms and conditions as set out in our online information for employers including our Policy on Advertising Opportunities and Information which sets out definitions of employers and employment opportunities that will not be promoted.

The University of Salford’s Careers team works in collaboration with the following external suppliers and partners to provide students, graduates, and employers with access to services relevant to their skills development needs and employment opportunity vacancy search/promotion needs:

  • Handshake: Employment opportunity vacancy promotion.
  • CareerSet: CV, Covering Letter, Job Application writing skills development.
  • LinkedIn Learning: Skills development platform that University of Salford students have full access to.
  • Graduates First: Practice assessment tests used by more than 8,000 employers.
  • Graduates First: Video Interviews, prepare with confidence.
  • Student Circus: Provides access to international and UK employment opportunity vacancies, and immigration and country guides.
  • Gradcracker: UK Careers website for STEM students and graduates, providing access to employment opportunity vacancies, employer and occupational information.
