Key UCAS dates
All applications to full-time undergraduate course at UK universities must be made through UCAS. It’s important to keep UCAS deadlines in mind as missing them could jeopardise your child’s application. Check out some key UCAS dates below and note them in your diary.
|31 January 2024||UCAS application deadline.|
After applying, you should start thinking about student finance. You can see what finance is available to you using this online calculator. You can apply for student finance even if you’ve not accepted any of your offers yet.
We would encourage students to apply for student finance in May to ensure that finances are in place for the new academic year.
|16 May 2024||Universities will make decisions on applications by this date.|
|6 June 2024||If you have received decisions from all of the universities applied to by 16 May, firm and insurance choices must be made by this date.|
|5 July 2024||UCAS Clearing opens and universities begin to publish their vacancies.|
|15 August 2024||Results Day!|
|22 August 2024||GCSE results announced.|
