Below is a list of events which took place during Go Green Salford March 2026.
Various events took place across campus. These ranged from nature and wellbeing activities to the promotion of sustainability and Green Careers.
Workshops and Events
- Play your Cards Right: Monday 9 March 2026: 10:00 - 15:00: Clifford Whitworth Library: Test and enhance your sustainability knowledge with sustainable goodies to be won.
- Go Green stand in Clifford Whitworth: Monday 9 March 10:00 - 15:00 run by Careers and Library staff: which will include promotional materials, information on green/sustainable opportunities and activities. You can sign up to the sustainability newsletter and get a free tote bag. There will also be a jobs board advertising live green/sustainable/environmental opportunities. Keep an eye out for the green impact board which will be providing updated information on any related events/ initiatives and activities happening throughout the Go Green fortnight.
- Go Green Quiz Game: Tuesday 10 and 17 March 2026: 14:00 - 16:00: Drop into Clifford Whitworth Library to take part in the Green Careers Game to be in with the chance of winning a prize! Our Skills Ambassadors will be on hand to introduce you to the game and keep your score.
- Book Exhibit: Monday 9 March - Friday 20 March: Come and view and review an exhibit of books in The Library. We've specially curated this to focus on sustainability in specific sectors and occupations.

This includes renewable energy, conservation and data science, through to green finance, education and roles that help organisations become more sustainable.

Environmental Issues Online collects multimedia materials around different environmental themes. This includes documentaries, books, photos and archival letters. Search tips: choose a 'Featured Event' from the homepage and filter the format by 'Video' to find documentaries and performances.
