Making a start

Welcome Week and introduction to Careers

Activities and workshops during Welcome Week are open to apprentices, so get involved. 

We offer resources and support to help you achieve your career goals. Visit the Careers Hub to learn more and meet the team.

Networking and Careers Fairs

At a Careers Fair, you’ll improve your networking skills for your career and progression opportunities. Attend a preparation workshop if you're not sure how to make the most of a Fair.

We also offer support with developing your professional brand and networking in our LinkedIn workshops.

Employability skills

You’ll develop new skills all the time and our Employability Skills Checklist helps you to identify and record them. You may also identify skills gaps and areas you want to develop.

CV update

Keep your CV up to date and include your new skills acquired during your apprenticeship. For help and advice, attend a CV workshop, or access our CV resources.

Graduates First provide free, online practice aptitude tests. You can practice realistic video interviews with role-specific questions.
