Our contribution has shaped global audio products, mobilised advanced acoustic consultants and set regulations and standards both in the UK and worldwide. Our acoustics and audio postgraduate courses are available with full-time and part-time study routes.

Gas and Petroleum
Salford's Autonomous Systems and Robotics department has internationally-recognised research excellence in Robotics & Artificial Intelligence (RAI). Appointed the home of the National Advanced Robotics Research Centre in 1987 it was the founding member of the Northern Robotics Network, which became the National Robotics Network (NRN).
