Disability Inclusion Service
The Disability Inclusion Service works with you to ensure you have fair and equal access to your education. Sometimes there are factors that mean you need adjustments put in place, which is why we create Reasonable Adjustment Plans (RAP) and have Inclusive and Accessible Teaching adjustments in place for all students.
If you’re living with a disability or a specific learning difficulty, then you’re entitled to appropriate academic support in taught classes and for assessments. This can include extra time for assessments, extended book loans from the Library and support for field trips. Read our Inclusive Support Statement for full details about the inclusive practices in place to support you.
Reasonable Adjustment Plans
Reasonable Adjustment Plans (RAP) are what we can help put in place to ensure you have fair and equal access to your education.
Accommodation When You Live With Disability or a Health Condition
Your choice of accommodation may be influenced by ill health or disability. If you apply for a place at CLV or another major accommodation provider, tell them in your application form so they can offer you a suitable room if available.
Equality and Employment
We are committed to the ideals and practice of equality and diversity in all aspects of our work. We have gathered useful resources around Equality and Diversity with specific reference to communities of students and graduates that may face barriers in the job market.
