My Salford, our online employee benefit portal, is a one-stop-shop for discounts and colleague benefits with thousands of pounds saved across the platform since its launch. My Salford offers a huge range of discounts on high-street shopping; supermarkets; holidays and cinemas along with additional seasonal offers. There are lots of ways to save from discounted e-vouchers to cashback savings such as the Spree card. All this and more are only a click away!
The portal also features a recognition scheme with opportunity for any colleague to share a 'Thank you' card.

We operate very generous pension schemes with a range available depending on the Grade of your role.
USS – Grades 7-10 and Management: Hybrid (defined benefit and defined contribution) pension scheme with employer contributions of 21.1% and employee contributions of 9.6% per year
USPP – Grades 1-6: Non-contributory Defined Contribution pension scheme. The plan is non-contributory by default. This means that you do not have to pay anything unless you want to. The University will contribute 9% of your salary and will match any contributions you make up to a maximum of 4%

We aim to open up the benefits our students enjoy to all our colleagues. This includes a range of subscriptions and library services to help our colleagues continue to learn, be curious and stay up to date with industry. You can also gain access to a huge array of resources through LinkedIn Learning and other sources along with a Sconal card so you can access other university library services.
You can also apply for a Totum (previously NUS) card to receive additional discounts on top of the discounts already available.

Flexible and agile working
We support a culture of both flexible and agile working to support you to work in the way that's best for you. There's lots of space to work on campus and discounted options for commuting such as season ticket loans and cycle to work scheme. For off-site working all colleagues have a Microsoft 365 account allowing them to access a range of cloud based programmes so they can access their work almost anywhere.
We also have a range of family friendly benefits including maternity, paternity, adoption and other special leave and support networks to make sure everyone can be at their best here.
