Ms Nat Walsh
I am a Careers Consultant working primarily with School of Arts, Media and Creative Technology, and School of Health and Society. I work with our students to help identify career goals and take the appropriate steps to reach them. This includes offering support with researching options, making decisions and developing relevant skills. I also deliver design and deliver bespoke employability sessions and workshops to be embedded into modules, working closely with academic colleagues to tailor content and delivery approaches.
I also offer one-to-one appointments, both online and on campus, which are available to current students and graduates from any School. These appointments can cover topics including career planning, job hunting and support with applications and interviews, alongside any other employability related queries. These appointments are student-led, as my priority is always to understand areas of interest and specific career questions and priorities, in order to give personalised and effective advice, information and guidance.
