Salford Business School (SBS)

Our employability hub supports undergraduate and postgraduate students across all business disciplines and law. Our drop-ins are in room 624, Maxwell Building. These take place from 14:00-16:00 on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and from 10:00-12:00 on Wednesday and Friday. We host events across the academic year. This includes our Employability Week which takes place in trimester 1 and 2. Students can engage with industry partners through live presentations, speed networking, and interactive workshops. School of Science, Engineering & Environment

As part of the employability offer, SEE offers a Year in Industry option within the majority of undergraduate programmes. HackCamp allows students to work on an intensive software development project with a live client. The Maker Space offers students the chance to develop skills using equipment such as 3D printers, laser-cutting machines and electronic circuit boards for academic or personal projects.

Placement drop-ins are weekly during term-time. They take place at the SEE building from 13:00-15:30 on Wednesdays. Contact us for queries related to placements and employability.
