I have recently started working at Salford University as a Data Collector on the BaSICS project. After completing a MSc. in Psychology I made a career move from working in the Third Sector and the community development field, to working as a research data collector in health and social care settings. This includes working on the CUPPA Project at Edge Hill University, which explored attitudes towards physical activity and sedentary behaviours in Ethnic Minority communities. I also work for York University as a Data Collector on their E-SEE project, which explores the emotional wellbeing of babies in their early years
Qualitative research especially photo-ethnography, and community based participatory research. My interests are in working with refugees/asylum seekers, and vulnerable families.
