Professor Martin Johnson

Emeritus Professor in Nursing


Now emeritus professor in nursing at the University of Salford, Manchester, UK, Martin’s Nursing Power and Social Judgement, Ashgate, Aldershot (1997) and his book Research Ethics in the Real World (co-edited with Tony Long) published by Elsevier/Churchill Livingstone in 2007 examine the context in which nurses and other health professionals make ethical decisions of various types. From 2003 to 2010 he was Editor in Chief of Nurse Education Today and a member of the 2014 Research Excellence Framework Sub-panel 3 (Allied Health, Dentistry, Nursing and Pharmacy).
