Dr Paul Wilson

Associate Dean Academic Operations


Paul is currently the Associate Dean for Operations within the School of Health Sciences.  This involves the management and leadership of the School's resources which includes facilites, staff and external partnerships. 

Since joining the University in 1999, Paul has held a number of other senior roles including Associate Head of School, Director of Programmes and also Associate Dean for Enterprise where he was responsible for creating partnerships, income and allied to the College’s teaching and research activity.

Research Interests

Paul’s research centres around the use of ecological models to explain health behaviour which has led ot journal articles and a book chapter.  His Professional Doctorate focussed on the notion of social practice to explain the emergence and design of cycle commuting centres.
