My role within the University is to deliver Midwifery Education from Level 4 to Level 7 with breastfeeding and clinical skills as specialties. I am also part of the admissions team and I am responsible for recruiting student midwives.
My role within the University is to deliver Midwifery Education from Level 4 to Level 7 with breastfeeding and clinical skills as specialties. I am also part of the admissions team recruiting student midwives onto our oversubscribed midwifery courses.
I am currently developing a level 7 module and several independent study days and I am working alongside the Nursing Directorate to incorporate key aspects of basic midwifery with the Student Nurse Programme.
- Recruitment and retention of student midwives and newly qualified midwives.
- Using problem based learning effectively

Registered Midwife with the NMC. MSc Public Health, PGCE in Higher Education, BSc (Hons) Midwifery, NVQ Internal Verifier, NVQ Assessor.
