Professor Andrew Rowland

Consultant in Paediatric Emergency Medicine & Honorary Professor (Paediatrics)


Andrew is Consultant in Children’s Emergency Medicine at North Manchester General Hospital, Honorary Professor (Paediatrics) at the University of Salford, Chair of SicKids registered charity, a Member of the Board of Directors of M’Lop Tapang (Cambodia) and Head of the UK Delegation to the European Union of Medical Specialists.

Andrew received the Pol Roger Prize for his Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Fellowship, Living on a Railway Line. In 2017 Andrew was awarded The Association Medal by the British Medical Association in recognition of his service to the Association, and to the profession.
