I have spent 28 years providing archaeological planning advice for the ten Local Planning Authorities of Greater Manchester. During this time I have also managed the Historic Environment Record, including delivery of a major Historic Landscape Characterisation project, and promoted community engagement and research.

I provide a wide range of presentations to professional and public audiences on the archaeology of Greater Manchester.  I will input to the planned Archaeology and Geography with Professional Practice degree, with particular responsibility for the Heritage Management module.
