Dr Susantha Udagedara
Lecturer in Enterprise and Innovation
Dr Susantha Udagedara joined the University of Salford as Lecturer in Enterprise and Innovation after completing his PhD funded by the World Bank. He has joined Salford after 14 years of research and teaching experience in the UK, China and Sri Lanka. Previously, he taught business management related subjects at the University of Kelaniya (Sri Lanka), and had visiting appointments at the University of Rajarata (Sri Lanka) and the Manchester International College (UK). Dr Udagedara has supervised and supported a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate research projects and has served as Person in Charge of IRQUE Project funded by the World Bank. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and continues researching into innovation and small business related issues in both advanced capitalist countries and emerging/less-developed countries.

His research focuses on innovation management and small business, with a particular interest in organisation dynamics and innovation wthin the context of both advanced capitalist countries and emerging/less-developed countries.
