BIOGRAPHY
I am a midwifery lecturer maintaining clinical midwifery practice at University Hospitals of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust. I am predominantly an educator delivering undergraduate and post graduate education and training to midwives, and students in other health professions nationally and internationally. As an educator I have maintained an interest in healthcare research and have published peer reviewed papers in acute illness management and educational delivery in low income settings. I am in the final year of a PhD commissioned by Health Education England, entitled ‘The impact of social media based Communities of Practice on new mothers'.

- I am a member of the AIM© faculty which delivers AIM© and Maternal AIM© regionally, nationally and internationally, and have modified the AIM© course materials for use in low and middle income countries
