BIOGRAPHY
I joined the University of Salford in 2008 as a Lecturer of Fashion Design incorporating Pattern cutting and Production Techniques, having previously been in education since 2004 as a visiting tutor at MMU and UCLAN.
Overall I have spent 21 years in Fashion, Tailoring and education.
Tailoring being the mainstay of my career. From my apprenticeship to SAVILE ROW brand GIEVES & HAWKES to proprietor of my own Manchester based Bespoke Tailors.
I have also worked on a variety of projects within men’s casual wear, denim, outerwear and high-end woman’s wear.
In my current role my academic interests focus on Design, Pattern cutting and Production Techniques. I teach across all levels of the undergraduate Fashion Design program.
