Biography
Joyce started her nursing career as a staff nurse working in Intensive Care and progressed to become a Sister. In 2002 I was appointed the Practice Educator for the Intensive Care Unit which included teaching on the critical care programme developed by the Greater Manchester Critical Care Skills Institute at Trafford General Hospital. In 2001 received a scholarship from the Florence Nightingale Foundation to study organ donation in North America.
Since 2006 is an adult lecturer in nurse education at the University of Salford. Is also a member of the Greater Manchester Critical Care Skills Institute AIM Advisory Board

My key areas of interest are in critical care nursing.

Facilitate and teach BSc Student Nurses , International Students, Mental Health Students and Masters students on the Acute Illness Management Course
