Biography

Eight years' experience in practice as a Chartered Surveyor working within both private practice and management contracting organizations.

Extensive experience of teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels across a broad range of built environment disciplines.

Previous universities: Leeds Metropolitan and Ulster.

External Examinerships at Liverpool John Moores University and Robert Gordon University.

Visiting Tutor at University of Cambridge.

Areas of research

Procurement, MMC, Risk, Value Management

Teaching

Currently teaching Procurement at Level 7.

Research Interests

Research work and publications in the field of risk and value management and procurement.  Overarching interest in the relationships between research, practice and education in the built environment.
