Biography
My background is primarily in post production and new media technologies for media production. Working within companies over the last twenty years has enabled me to witness the transition from analogue to digital technologies and the challenges that brings to the broadcast industry. I have worked in a number of media production and post production companies in a number of capacities and roles before taking up my current post in 2010.
I am course leader for the MA Wildlife Documentary course.
My primary teaching is on a number of modules at both post and under graduate levels with particular specialism in video and audio post production and visual effects.
I have also taught internationally at the International Film and TV School (EICTV) in Cuba and have delivered and written a number of short courses and workshops for the school between 2000 and 2010.
Media technology and production are constantly changing within the broadcast industry and I work with a number of broadcast companies to research and identify future technologies and trends within the media production sector.
