Biography
Emma qualified as a mental health nurse in 2013, and has completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Advanced Practice in Forensic Mental Health. Emma has worked within Greater Manchester Mental Health Foundation trust since qualifying. She has held roles as a Staff nurse within acute mental health settings, a Band 6 Team Leader within medium secure forensic services and as a Care Coordinator within Community Mental Health Services before joining the University as a Clinical Educator for Nursing Associates in September 2020. Emma's areas of interest are trauma informed care, personality disorder, wellbeing and bereavement.
Emma predominantly teaches within the 1st year of the Nursing Associate Foundation degree apprenticeship.
