Occupational Therapy Teaching and Learning Intern
Biography
Debbie qualified as an occupational therapist in 2012 and enjoyed working in mental health throughout practice. She worked in a variety of settings including forensics and rehabilitation, predominantly with women with a diagnosis of emotionally unstable personality disorder. Debbie is also trained in dialectical behavioral therapy which has supported the application of occupational therapy with this client group and has influenced research interests. Debbie joined University of Salford in 2021 as a Teaching and Learning Intern.
Module lead for Foundations of Occupational Therapy Practice (L4) and assisting with teaching across multiple modules in the BSc programme.
