Senior Lecturer
Biography
I graduated from the University of Salford obtaining a first class honours degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1979 and my PhD in 1982. I then took up an appointment with the University of Salford in 1983 as a research assistant, and was appointed as a lecturer in 1984.
In 1988 I became a senior lecturer and was acting head of School in 2002. I am currently Director of Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering.
I have published widely in the field of Control Engineering with over 150 publications.
I have also been involved in Industrial collaboration with BAEs, BNFL, British Gas, British Steel, Airbus, MOD and Rolls Royce.
