Biography
Abby joined the University of Salford in 2016. Since joining the university, she has taught on both the pre-registration Nursing and Nursing Associate programmes. Prior to joining this she was working as the Falls Lead Nurse within the Patient Safety Department of a large NHS teaching Trust.
Abby's clinical background includes posts as an Elderly Care Ward Manager, Clinical Educator within the Medical Division, as well as posts in the Emergency Department and Medical Assessment Units.
Abby leads the 1st year of the Nursing Associate foundation degree apprenticeship & is the module leader for Foundations of Health & Well being. In addition Abby teaches on a variety of modules.
