Biography
Mark has over 20 years of experience as a practicing psychotherapist. He specialises in Transactional Analysis (TA) Psychotherapy. He was the recipient of the 2017 International Transactional Analysis Association Research Award in recognition of his research into the effectiveness of TA.

Mark teaches on a range of undergraduate and postgraduate counselling and psychotherapy modules and teaches on psychological first aid, emotional intelligence & psychological wellbeing across the university. Mark has a strong international reputation and regularly teaches workshops around the world.
I am currently investigating the effectiveness of a transactional analysis-based six-week psychoeducational group work programme. I am also engaged in ongoing case study research on the effectiveness of transactional analysis psychotherapy with a range of presenting issues and research which is examining how we can actively promote positive mental health. I am especially interested in practice-based and practice-relevant research which enhances therapeutic practice.
