Choose our master’s in public health to deepen your knowledge on core public health skills with a unique focus on the social determinates of health at an institutional member university of the Association of Schools of Public Health in the European Region (ASPHER).

FAQs

What support is there to help fund my studies?

We offer a selection of scholarships to help you fund your postgraduate studies. Our Global Gold Excellence Scholarship is worth £3,000 and our Global Silver Excellence Scholarship is worth £2,500. Both of these scholarships are automatically deducted from your tuition fees.  

You also have the option to spread the cost of your tuition fees over seven consecutive monthly instalments. Alternatively, if you pay up front, you will receive a 3% discount based on the net remaining amount after any scholarships have been applied. 

We also offer lots of support to help with the cost-of-living in the UK. Details of the different support schemes can be found on our cost of living webpage. You’ll also find information on discounts and offers on this webpage.  

What opportunities are there for part-time jobs?

We are located close to Manchester city centre which is a growing hub for businesses in the North of England. As a result, there are lots of opportunities to find part-time work in a variety of industries. We have an on-campus part-time recruitment agency, Unitemps, who can support you in finding a job within the university or at another local business. Our Careers and Enterprise team can also work with you to improve your CV and interview technique to secure a part-time job.
