Our priorities
University strategy

The University’s strategic plans for 2025-2030, ‘Innovating to Enrich Lives’, frames how we will work as an inclusive community to take our ethos into the next five years and beyond. We will achieve this through fostering a collaborative, inclusive and purposeful culture. Enquiry, learning and action will be at the heart of all that we do.

A review of the University’s progress against the targets within the strategic plans are published in the Annual Report.

Our Social and Economic Impact report is produced annually, and assesses the University’s current position, celebrates its successes and guides its strategic goals.

Academic quality and standards

We publish our Academic Regulations, and retain previous versions, on our website.

Our Academic Handbook comprises the academic policies and procedures that support our quality assurance and enhancement activities relating to taught and research degree programmes. They reflect University strategy and have been mapped against the expectations of the UK Quality Code for Higher Education.

You can find information about academic quality via DiscoverUni. DiscoverUni is the official website for comparing UK higher education course data for prospective students.
