Through online knowledge and skills modules that tackle real-world challenges, you'll develop essential skills that you were never taught in school. Topics cover everything from Global Citizenship and Community Building to Financial Skills and Future Planning. Start the programme today and build the skills that you need, not only in your studies, but for life outside of university. 

Plus, for every module you complete, you'll receive a digital certificate backed by the globally recognised UNESCO and Higher Health, that will boost your CV and LinkedIn profile to make you stand out in a competitive job market.

How the programme works

Complete online modules

Skills4Living is a flexible programme made up of short, interactive online modules that lets you set the pace. Choose which modules you want to complete, from Gender Equality and Global Citizenship to Financial Skills and Staying Safe. Developing in these key areas will help make everyday challenges easier while building the skills employers value, like managing stress and money, growing in confidence and planning for the future.

By spending as little as 30 minutes a week on the programme, you’ll complete it this academic year and be prepared for any challenge the future may bring.

Join peer-led group sessions

As part of the programme, you'll have the chance to join optional monthly group sessions where you can connect with other driven students who are looking to make a positive change in their life and communities. You will support one another in completing the programme, as well as make likeminded friends and connections.
