Important information - safety on campus

Group numbers

Tour groups will consist of your tour guide and up to 20 visitors but this will be adapted based on the sizes of the areas you're touring.

On campus

We have put measures in place across our campus to ensure the safety of you, your guests and our students and staff. These include one-way walking routes in our buildings, hand sanitisation points near building entrances, regular cleaning of high-touch points and plenty of signage reminding everyone of the guidelines.

Face coverings

Although restrictions are easing we will be asking you and your guest to please wear a mask throughout your tour – inside or outside – and at any point you enter any of our buildings, unless exempt for health reasons. This allows us to observe a 1m+ distancing whilst on the tour, helping to ensure everyone can hear our guides clearly and safely.

Your risk factors

Before coming onto campus, please consider if you fall into a higher risk category for Covid-19. We have provided a link here that provides some further information on who would be considered a higher risk. Whilst we're taking measures to ensure the safety of everyone on campus, if you fall into one or more of these categories, please consider whether it is suitable for you to come along to one of our tours.

If you develop Covid-19 symptoms

If you have booked a place on one of our tours but develop Covid-19 symptoms before you are due to visit, please stay at home and do not visit our campus. Covid-19 symptoms include a high temperature, a new continuous cough, or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.

You should get a test if you are displaying symptoms. Apply online on the Government's website or call 119 if you cannot access the internet.

You and anyone you live with must stay at home (self-isolate) until you get your result. Anyone in your support bubble must also self-isolate until you get your result.
