I have tutored on the Independent Research Project across a variety of programmes in the School of Arts and Media.

 

I have guest-lectured at Salford City College and Stockport College.

Research Interests

Alongside spatial design, my specialist interest is in illustration and storytelling (architectural and picture book) alongside with:

 

-     reportage drawing

-     picture books and Haiku as a form of Slow Art

-     drawing as a tool for development in 3D design

I am a member and blogger for Urban Sketchers Manchester.

 

I have had my work published by The History Press, Rotovision (UK and US), and Creative Locations Ltd.

 

In 2015, I started working in a cross-disciplinary collaboration (ICZ) with Paul Tracey (Senior Lecturer In Construction Law, School of The Built Environment) and co-designed 'Rich Pictures in Construction Law, based on research by Checkland (1972).

 

I am currently working on a crossover picture book which documents the sounds and pictures of the City of Manchester.
