Welcome to the programme
Orientation to the University, University policies and admin essentials.
Practice module induction
Start of the practice module will review the PAD/PARE and timesheets and academic regulations. Apprentice students complete Day one learning.
Tuesday 08/09/2026
Introduction to apprenticeships and direct funded
- Apprenticeship intro – KSBs, one file, Off the Job, FBV, Prevent & Safeguarding CIC, BiL, Remind re RAPs and carers RAPs, EC
- Direct entry intro – Proficiencies, Protected Learning, Alternative Practice and NMC requirements, spokes, RAPs and carers RAPs, EC
Introduction to your specialism and PT time
Introduction to your specialism and PT time, the session will cover:
- Intro Pathway Lead
- Each specialism in small groups creates a poster to demonstrate the things are great & challenging about their service
Wednesday 09/09/2026
SWOT analysis and individual learning plan
Creating long and short term goals, individual learning plans.
Leadership and CNSP/SCPHN
Session to review leadership traits and developing reflection in regards to leadership.
Thursday 10/09/2026
Introduction to Library service
Session with the library team.
Programme requirements
Discuss programme module content, year planner, holidays and support on the programme V300 requirements.
Friday 11/09/2026
Celebration event
Previous and new students celebrate the beginning and end of the programme with PA and PS.
Consolidation time
Reading time to consolidate programme requirements and Blackboard activities in prep for next week.
