Programme Leader talk
Receive essential information about your programme of study, including key academic procedures and expected behaviours that will support your success during your time at the University of Salford.
Placement readiness
This session will be led by the onboarding team, who will guide you through several important onboarding steps. You will be supported in completing your Occupational Health questionnaire, which will trigger your appointment, as well as starting your DBS application (please remember to bring three forms of identification). Enrolled students will also complete their GHGC requirements. If you need any additional support, the Student Onboarding team will be available throughout the week on Allerton Concourse.
Mandatory placement preparation event
Mandatory session delivering information on the expectations of your placement, mandatory training and support on placement.

Hosted in our world class centre for medical imaging, get an introduction to the space you will be working in, find out more about our radiography placements and see if you can escape one of our rooms.

Meet your professional body and learn about activity on campus
In this session you can meet the representative for our professional body - Society and College of Radiographers and learn about how they can support your lifelong learning. You can also meet the Students Union's activities team and learn about all the varied activities that are supported on campus.
