What is Body Doubling?
Body Doubling is a simple but powerful productivity technique where working alongside others helps you stay on task and get things done. In this weekly session, you’ll join fellow students in a supportive, no-pressure environment to make real progress on your coursework.
Whether you’re stuck on a first draft, editing an essay, or just need a push to get started, this session is for you.
It’s especially helpful if you:
- Struggle with procrastination or motivation.
- Work better with structure and accountability.
- Prefer a calm, focused space to get things done.
What to expect
Set your goal: At the start, everyone briefly shares what they plan to work on.
Focus time: We’ll work quietly and independently for one hour - no distractions, just solid progress.
Check-in: At the end, we’ll regroup to share what we achieved and reflect on how it went.
Optional Q&A and extra time: Stay a bit longer if you have questions about study techniques or academic skills, or if you simply want to keep working.
Come as you are: Bring your laptop, your notes, and your to-do list. Let’s get it done, together.
