Nick Wood's journey began in a small Northern mill town, a place that offered limited avenues for nurturing his passion for performance. Faced with this challenge, he took matters into his own hands at the age of ten, making films using an old camera.

Coming from a working-class background coupled with an alternative upbringing, Nick aspires to unearth the intrinsic beauty within the realm of the ordinary.

His artistic training comprises of TV acting, motion capture, radio, and the Stanislavski Theatre. Nick honed these skills during his formative years at Salford University, where he pursued a BA in Media and Performance, followed by an MA in Screen Acting which he recently concluded.

Based in Manchester, Nick's creative pursuits extend beyond acting, practicing guitar, photography, French, and nature treks.

Recently he has been on tour in Stockport's more deprived areas, with the play Port. He has also been nominated for best actor in the Belgrade film festival for his Work in Deduction (2023).
