We are proud to showcase the exceptional work of our students and alumni through a range of events, including the annual Degree Show, our Create Student Awards, and celebrations of creativity across our subject areas. These events highlight the diverse talents and achievements of our community and inspire future generations of creative minds.
The Create Student Awards
The annual Create Student Awards is a flagship end of year celebratory event for the Salford School of Arts, Media and Creative Technology. Across nine categories, the awards recognise and formally commend the incredible achievements and successes of final year and postgraduate, plus our alumni.
Salford Degree Show
SAMCT Degree Show 2024
Our annual Degree Show is the result of three years of creative and intellectual development and hard work. It showcases the fantastic talents of our final year students in the Salford School of Arts, Media and Creative Technology, and acts as a launchpad for the professional careers of our graduates.
Film Production and Film Studies Awards
The annual Film Production and Film Studies awards recognise the work of final year students on the BA and MA Film Production and BA Film Studies programmes. The evening is preceded by a day of screenings showcasing the final films of our graduating Film Production students, followed by an Industry Showcase.
Journalism Awards
Our Journalism and PR Awards recognise the work and achievements of students across our Journalism and Public Relations programmes.
Politics and Contemporary History Awards
The PCH awards highlight the successes, pay tribute to, and celebrate, the achievements and accomplishments of our students and staff.
Television and Radio Production Awards
The BAFTARS recognise the achievements of students studying BA Television and Radio Production each year.
Games, Animation, Editing and Visual Effects Awards
The Games, Animation, Editing and Visual Effects awards celebrate the achievements and successes of our students studying one of these programmes.
