Noor Al-Naser

Noor is a former UN diplomat with over nine years of experience working with the United Nations. Before attending the University of Salford, she was an Operations Analyst for the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) in Iraq, managing explosive hazards clearance projects in post-ISIS areas. Awarded a fully funded FCDO Chevening Scholarship, Noor pursued an MA in Terrorism and Security at the University of Salford.  

She later worked as a senior program officer with the UN office of Counterterrorism in Doha and as Lecturer at the University of Salford, specialising in Terrorism and the Middle East, Noor is currently As the Scottish Peace Platform Manager with Beyond Borders Scotland while continuing to lecture part time in Terrorism Studies at the University of Salford and the University of Wolverhampton.
