“I feel really honoured to be nominated, especially for Engagement with Industry – as it feels affirming to me that I'm on the right path and making my mark! This industry has always been the only one I've ever wanted to carve a career in. Having the honour of now working on so many shows which I love so much, still makes me have to pinch myself. My lecturers at the University of Salford have been a huge help to me and so accommodating over the past few years as I've juggled working in industry with all my studies – and I'm very grateful for the support. This has allowed me to work on many dream television shows and also grow my radio presenting experience and I now feel in a really positive position about my next steps after graduating. I feel like I have grown so much since first joining university – in myself personally, but also confidence wise when navigating the TV and Radio industry. To be nominated feels like a really nice way to round off such a transformational few years for me at Salford.”
