Studying online with Robert Kennedy College
We are delighted to offer a range of our master’s programmes to a wider audience through our franchise agreement with Robert Kennedy College (RKC). These courses are delivered 100% online and are available to applicants from around the world.
These courses are delivered by RKC using academic materials developed by Salford Business School academics and presented online via video. This teaching is supplemented by seminars and tutorials with RKC tutors. The degree is awarded by the University of Salford and recognised by the British government; however, you should be aware that the degree transcript will mention RKC as your teaching institution and you should check that the degree is recognised in your country.

“Salford was offering a part-time course via correspondence [at Robert Kennedy College], which was perfect, as it gave me an opportunity attend a truly international university and qualification that really appealed to me.
All the subjects were relevant and applicable for a person managing a department, division or even their own business. The assignments were relevant with the times and applicable to today’s business environment. I enjoyed the feedback given on each completed assignment, which was constructive and guiding.
My original purpose to study was to gain additional knowledge which I could use along side my job at the time. I was in senior management and needed additional tools to take the businesses to the next level. The subjects helped me build strategies in driving the financial position from a loss to profit generating while empowering and maintaining the same team of people. I have taken this knowledge to the UK where I joined a business where a strong focus was required on cashflow and profitability. The company has grown and I have been given an opportunity to buy shares in the business and take it to the next stage of its journey.
Many of the students will be working hard at their 9:00 to 5:00 jobs which means one has to be disciplined in allocating specific time to your subjects and assignments. I found early mornings before work was my best time to learn theory and evenings and weekends for researching and completing my assignments.
My advice? Write down your goals of what you want to achieve during the course and remind yourself why you started the qualification. It is important to participate in the group forums, it gives a student an opportunity and platform to express their opinions. The forums allow for the sharing of knowledge and ideas.”
