OUR COMMITMENT

Employability embedded

Employability is integrated into every study level from day one. Throughout your academic journey, you'll have the opportunity to gain additional technical qualifications at no extra cost. As a Business School student at level 4, you can earn globally recognised Microsoft qualifications within the first year. Furthermore, all Business and Law Level 4 students will expand their digital skills by participating in the Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award (iDEA) programme.

Many of our programs hold accreditation from leading professional bodies, signifying their adherence to rigorous professional standards. These programs also provide opportunities and support for you to acquire recognised qualifications that will enhance your CV.

Personalised academic support

Receive tailored support for your academic growth through the Academic Progress Review (APR). In addition to your individual tutor's guidance, all Business School students benefit from personalised support through the APR process.

The APR aims to coach you toward realising your full potential and establishing improvement goals. Whether it's developing a new skill or pursuing a year in industry, your APR is regularly updated throughout the year to ensure you stay on course.

Timely and constructive feedback

Assessments serve as a gauge of your progress, and we're here to support your preparation and provide valuable feedback to help you maximise your potential.

At Salford Business School, we understand that assessments can be stressful. That's why we've invested in real-world simulations and various software tools that allow you to test your knowledge and enhance your skills before your assessments. You have the flexibility to do this at your convenience, as often as needed.

Upon submitting your assessments, you can expect to receive feedback within 15 working days. This feedback will include practical advice to enhance your work before your next submission, ensuring continuous improvement.

Friendly inclusive community

Incoming Level 4 students have the opportunity to connect with a student mentor to facilitate a smooth transition into our Business School and academic community. These dedicated student mentors, who share your student experience, undergo specialised training to provide you with valuable assistance and support.

Student support

We aim for you to have an enjoyable time studying with us, but we understand that things may not always go as expected.

In addition to the University's outstanding support services, Salford Business School has a team of dedicated Student Progression Assistants (SPAs) ready to assist you with a wide array of concerns. If necessary, they can connect you with specialised support services available throughout the University. Whether you require guidance on housing, adjusting to student life, financial matters, or simply a friendly conversation, don't hesitate to reach out to our SPAs.
