At the University of Salford, we are delighted to welcome large numbers of students from Pakistan and South Asia each year.
Greater Manchester has a large community of Pakistanis, as well as British people with Pakistani heritage, so you’ll find many people living here who speak Pakistani languages like Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi and Pashtu. Greater Manchester is also very well known for its great Pakistani restaurants, takeaways and shops selling Asian food.

Education consultants
Entry requirements
Undergraduate
Applicants require a minimum 80% at HSC, or lower grades plus a recognised foundation year, or a two year bachelor's degree with 50% or more (individual programme requirements may differ).
If you do not meet the entry requirements, you could take the International Foundation Year to gain entry onto this degree.
Postgraduate
Applicants require a four year bachelor’s degree with GPA of 2.5/4.0 or 55% (second class), or a three year bachelor's degree (with honours) with a GPA of 3.0/4.0 or 75%, or a two year bachelor's degree plus a two years master’s degree with a GPA of 2.7/4.0 or 60% (individual programme requirements may differ).

Our students love how friendly and diverse our community is, and that our location balances exciting city living with our spacious green campus.
