It’s not too late to book in for your virtual body MOT before Christmas!

The Sports Injury Clinic will be going online for the final two weeks of term (From Monday 7 December).

Whether you have an injury, you’re wanting to get back into exercising, or you’d like a posture check, the virtual appointments are catered to your needs.

Assessments are carried out by BSc sport rehabilitation students and overseen by qualified practitioners.

Demonstrator in Sport Rehabilitation, Charlotte Park said: ‘The virtual clinic worked extremely well last time and we helped lots of people get back to exercising again. The fact we are moving back to a virtual clinic due to the student travel window is not phasing us at all, and we are set and raring to go to help even more people.

‘While of course we can’t physically touch the patient, we can instruct on how to carry out exercises, self-massage, stretch and even complete biomechanical assessments.  Physical health is even more important in these difficult and uncertain times and contributes massively to our overall general and mental well-being.’

Students can book a free appointment by e-mailing salfordsportsinjuryclinic@salford.ac.uk.

Appointments will be held via Rehab Guru.
