Terms and conditions

Graduates are photographed from behind stood at the end of their assigned rows in the Lowry Theatre. The graduates wear black graduation gowns with hoods on top. The hoods are dark blue and grey on the outside, and red in the middle with the University of Salford logo repeated over the red in black.

By registering to attend graduation at the University of Salford, you agree to the below terms and conditions.

Registration and Attendance

  2. Graduates will not be charged to attend their allotted graduation ceremony.
  3. Each graduate is entitled to request up to two guest tickets, free of charge, provided the graduate has registered to attend.
  4. Tickets are not transferable, a graduand cannot give their ticket or their guest ticket to another graduand. The university will not honour any informal arrangements made between graduands to pass guest tickets on to another graduand.
  5. Please note that the university will close a ceremony to further bookings once the ceremony is full.
  6. Guests will be seated separately from graduates during the ceremony. Graduate seats will be allocated upon registration on the day of your ceremony.
  7. We will email you confirmation of your complimentary guest tickets once you have completed the online “register to attend” form(s). You must provide a valid and operational email address.
