Registration Incentive Terms and Conditions

Terms and conditions

1. Promoter

• University of Salford (also referred to as "the University")

2. Eligibility

• Eligible students are automatically entered into the prize draw
• Open to both new Home students and new International students studying at the University of Salford as their main institution
• Entrants must be new students at the University of Salford registering for September 2026 intake
• Degree apprentices are not eligible for the prize draw

3. Incentive details

• Home students: new students who have registered on or before 6 September 2026 will be entered into a prize draw. The lucky winners will receive a £50 Inspire payment which will be added to their Inspire account
• International students: new students who have registered on or before 13 September 2026 will be entered into a prize draw. The lucky winners will receive a £50 Inspire payment which will be added to their Inspire account     
• The prize draw will take place the week commencing 28 September 2026, and we will contact the winners via their student email account with details of how the prize will be made
• Prizes are subject to availability and may be replaced with items of equivalent value at the University’s discretion
• There are 10 prizes available for Home students and 10 prizes available for International students

4. Duration

• The incentive offer begins on 17 August 2026 and ends at 23:59 on 6 September 2026 for Home students
• The incentive offer begins on 17 August 2026 and ends at 23:59 on 13 September 2026 for International students
• Prizes will not be valid beyond the stated period unless extended

5. Redemption Conditions

• Prize payments will be made via the Inspire platform
• If a winner does not already have an Inspire account, an account will be created for them using their University email address
• Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash unless otherwise stated
• Only one prize may be claimed per person/transaction unless explicitly stated

6. Cancellation and Modification

• The University reserves the right to modify or cancel the Incentive offer at any time for any reason without prior notice

7. Data Protection

• Any personal data collected will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws

8. Liability

• The University shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in this incentive

9. Governing Law

• These terms shall be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom
