The trip to North Yorkshire will introduce you to field work within geography and environmental management. You will be able to see examples of human activities where there are conflicts between economic gain and environmental conservation, and how these can be managed.

Meet our graduate alumni and current students
This joint session brings together Level 4, Level 5, and Level 6 Geography and Environmental Management students to connect across the programme and learn from each other’s experiences.
You will hear from Geography and Environmental Management graduate alumni and current students, who will share insights into their academic journeys and career pathways. The session will also highlight opportunities to develop your career profile, connect with professional organisations, and begin planning your professional journey.
Finally, representatives from the Environmental Sustainability Team, Sustainability Society, and others will introduce volunteering opportunities that can help you gain practical experience, develop skills, and get involved in environmental initiatives.
