Welcome to your induction schedule, your essential introduction to your course, your school, your tutors and your fellow students. To give you the best start to your studies here, it’s important to attend all the sessions below for your course, unless they are marked as optional.

  • For those attending activities on campus, don’t worry about getting lost – there will be lots of staff and students on campus to point you in the right direction. To help you find your way around we also have an interactive map on our Travel page.
  • For online induction sessions either follow the link in the schedule or go to your programme site on Blackboard.
  • If you are a student joining the International Foundation Year course, Salford Languages will contact you directly with details of your induction activities.
  • As well as course inductions, we're also hosting lots of different Welcome events and activities to help you get settled in to university life and meet new people. You'll find them all on our events hub.
