Maximus Povah
Maximus is a 22-year-old, working-class, gay actor from north Manchester. He is seeking representation with a northern agency to help him forge a career in the screen acting world.
Maximus began his training at 8 years old and has mostly worked in theatrical productions such as the Shakespeare Schools' Theatre Festival and commercials.
He later joined the MA Screen Acting course at Salford to refine his craft. He believes he has truly found his footing exploring comedic characters, while also being drawn to audacious characters with deep-seated opinions and challenges to deal with. Outside of acting, Maximus is a dedicated writer, reader and history lover. He describes himself as loud and bubbly, something which he tries to draw upon in his acting. He is hard working, passionate, and unapologetically himself.
