Maisy Bates
Maisy Anne is a 23-year-old actor from Sheffield, currently based in Salford. She is currently completing an MA in Screen Acting at the University of Salford and will graduate in August 2026. Alongside her studies, she has been training with Act Up North for two years.
Maisy has trained in motion capture and voice acting, as well as immersive acting. She also has over 10 years of tap dance experience and a BA in Illustration. Her on-screen credits include Sparky in Arcade 1987, Maisie in The Commonplace and Sam in Lazy Generation.
Her love of storytelling shines through in the characters she plays, from 80s sci-fi arcade-goer to a modern vampire to a 2000s punk. She loves anything fantastical and out of the ordinary, a passion reflected in her my life outside of acting as a part-time ghost hunter. She also has an aptitude for scenes rooted in Comedy.
